When you pucker your lips at him signaling that you want a kiss
Onew looks at you strangely at first, but then breaks out into a grin. Just as you think he’s going to kiss you, he lightly presses on your cheeks making you jut your lips out further like a fish. He laughs when you scrunch up your face. “Couldn’t resist.” He smiles before cupping your cheek and pressing his lips against yours.
Minho pretends that he has no idea what you want. “What are you doing?” He tilts his head, trying his absolute best not to burst out laughing. You give up, figuring that he does not appreciate your little sense of humor, but then feel his fingers under your chin before his lips are on yours. “Better?” He smiles when you nod happily.
Jonghyun looks at you with a raised eyebrow. “I kiss you all the time though, don’t I?” Your pucker turns into a small pout. “Fine.” You shrug and stand up from your seat. Before you can take a step, Jonghyun stands up, pulls you back and crashes his lips with yours while holding onto your waist.
Taemin just stares blankly at you. “Oh!” he suddenly says. You close your eyes and playfully jut your lips out further waiting for your kiss, but instead you feel a light pressure on your nose followed by a “boop!” Taemin laughs as he just poked you. “See if I ever kiss you aga-” Your response is cut off by his lips on yours.
Key scoffs at how childish you are. “Silly~” he teases, but surprisingly leans in… only to press a kiss to your forehead. You raise an eyebrow at him. “What’s the matter?” He crosses his arms over his chest. Your sigh and wiggle your mouth. Puckering has made your lips sore. Suddenly you’re dipped backwards and kissed.

So when it comes to the ‘you’ character, I really try to avoid crafting an overly cute personality (as in cute to the level that will cause irritation or perhaps a whole lot of cringing.) Hopefully this one still lies within the “safe zone.” XP
I thought of this scenario idea very quickly and although it was a challenge to wrestle with it, I say it turned out to be a rather quirky one (as reflected in the title above.) It also turned out to have a bit of a childish charm.

When he dislikes a certain vegetable, but you include it in your cooking
Disclaimer: I made up ALL the food preferences for this scenario!
(A/N: A scenario during the “early” period of your relationship (dating) when you whip up a meal for your beloved SHINee member. Let us assume that you’re still getting to really know one another. Oh, how sweet!)
Onew has never mentioned to you that he absolutely despises eggplant. You on the other hand, happen to be very fond of the vegetable and all of its purple glory. So when he sees a side of your signature eggplant dish on his plate, his face pales. “What’s wrong?” you ask, startling him in the process. “Nothing! Looks great!” He smiles a bit too widely, but you shrug at the thought. Just like a little kid, Onew eats everything around the eggplant and casually pokes it around in hopes of distracting you. However, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that he’s not eating it.”You don’t like eggplant?” Onew looks down on his plate, then back at you with the most adorable guilty look on his face. “Please don’t make me eat it.” he mumbles. You burst out laughing.
Taemin has quite the appetite, but cannot stand broccoli. He didn’t like it as a child and swears that he will never like it. It just so happens to be his lucky day when you throw a handful of broccoli into your stir fry. “Taemin, here taste this and see if it needs more salt.” you spear a piece of broccoli with a fork and hold it up to his mouth, missing the slight twitch of his eye. “I really don’t-” his voice is cut off by your kitchen timer. “Ah! I got to go check on the soup!” Seeing you all flustered, Taemin holds his breath and simply takes the broccoli with his teeth while you bolt back into the kitchen. When you reemerge, Taemin is still holding the dreaded vegetable with his teeth, refusing to bite down. You smile and let him spit it out, no explanation needed.
Minho is not a picky eater at all and has never encountered a problem… that is until you include asparagus spears as a side dish on his plate. He simply cuts up the spears and moves them around his plate hoping that you won’t notice. “Mmm, I think mine unfortunately came out too salty. What do you think?” You hold out a small piece of asparagus from your plate for him to taste. Not wanting to make a scene, Minho takes it in his mouth, but doesn’t chew. “It’s fine, no worries.” he forces a smile even though he’s practically dying on the inside. An awkward silence fills the room as you watch him practically squirm. “You don’t like asparagus, do you?” You finally say as he surrenders and spits it out into his napkin.
Jonghyun can take spinach, brussels sprouts, and squash without a fuss, but bell peppers will make him gag. He desperately tries to keep a straight face when he sees your featured side dish: stuffed bell peppers. The two of you share a lovely conversation over dinner without you noticing how he tries everything else except for the pepper. “My mom shared this recipe with me.” you point to the peppers. “It looks too pretty to eat!” Jonghyun blurts out. “Is that why you didn’t eat yours yet?” you ask with a smile. Jonghyun feels like shooting himself right on the spot in realizing that he dug his own grave, but does taste the stuffing rather than the pepper. “I do the same thing! Not a big fan of peppers actually.” you admit, and all of a sudden he’s ecstatic.
Key hates carrots with a passion, but does not want to ruin your romantic dinner together when he zeroes in on a few baby carrots on his plate. He resorts to discreetly slipping the carrots off of his plate and into his napkin in hopes that you won’t catch on that he’s not eating them. However his technique backfires as he underestimates your hospitality. “I find it cute that you like carrots so much!” You offer to serve him seconds, but is shocked when he blurts out “NO!” With a pained expression he confesses, but feels even worse when your expression is also bleak. “I didn’t know so I bought a carrot cake for dessert.” you mumble. After a very awkward silence, the two of you suddenly start laughing at how silly and carrot-filled your dinner has become.

One of my favorite scenarios that I have crafted thus far is the DBSK/JYJ husband one featuring the baby girl. I couldn’t resist running with the idea so I came up with this cutesy one (and if you look closely, pretty romantic as well XD)

When his daughter invites him for an (imaginary) tea party
A/N: Same deal, you and your DBSK/JYJ man of choice are married, and now your little girl is a bit more grown up from when we last saw her!
Yunho, who considers himself to be one of the manliest of men in South Korea can only… well… take it like a man. He helps set up the little tea set with the grace and precision that only Jung Yunho can bring. “One sugar or two, princess.” he asks his little girl who happens to be all prettied up in a tutu and tiara. “One, ooh, and teddy wants one too.” She enthusiastically shoves a pink teddy bear onto his lap. “Ok, ok.” Yunho smiles. By the time you come home, your daughter is happily tucked into bed for a nap. “And how was your day with her?” You kiss him on the cheek in appreciation. Yunho shrugs and holds you close to him, until he feels you pull something out of his hair. With a suppressed laugh, you show him one of your daughter’s pink hairclips that she probably ever-so-discreetly clipped into his hair.
Junsu wants more than anything to teach his daughter how to kick a soccer ball instead, but he keeps his cool and goes along with her little game happily. “Would you like some more tea?” Junsu asks his little girl. She nods happily and holds out her plastic tea cup, giggling as Junsu makes a big scene of exaggerating his tea-pouring skills. “Squeaky wants to join us too.” She smiles brightly at Junsu who tilts his head to the side in confusion. “Squeaky?” he asks, before she pulls out a giant dolphin plush, practically three times the size of her, out of her toy chest. “Ohh~” Junsu turns a little red in the face as he “serves” Squeaky. You manage to arrive home just as Junsu sets the teacup in front of Squeaky. “Mommy!” Your daughter leaps off of her seat and starts bounding towards the door. After practically knocking you over with her speed, she tugs on your hand to invite you to the table for some tea.
Jaejoong stares at the two hair clips presented in front of him knowing that one’s for him. “Which one do you like better?” he asks his daughter. She scrunches up her face in contemplation before selecting the more extravagant one out of the two. “Good choice.” Jaejoong plays along. After fixing a tiara in her hair, Jaejoong sits on the floor patiently as she runs around behind him to place the clip in his hair. “Ouch.” Jaejoong quietly mutters to himself as she tugs on his hair a little too hard out of excitement. “Everything ok in here?” You poke your head into your daughter’s room and immediately spot Jaejoong’s new accessory. Your daughter nods enthusiastically before fetching her tea set while Jaejoong watches her proudly, then turns to smile at you. You can’t help, but fall in love with him all over again.
Yoochun does not hesitate to accept his daughter’s invitation for a tea party. He helps her set up the tea set and even helps her put on a pretty necklace just for the occasion. When you walk into her room to check on them, you see that Yoochun actually dragged in the keyboard from his work room. Your little girl is swaying back and forth to the music as Yoochun serenades her with songs. As his fingers dance across the keys, you can’t help but notice that behind him, she’s trying to imitate his hand positions. “I chose to be the live entertainment.” Yoochun looks at you and smiles at how darn witty he can be. You stifle a laugh at his antics, until he suddenly pulls a rose out of his shirt pocket and hands it to you. “A rose, for the beautiful lady.” he says with a velvet-like voice and winks. Your daughter cutely covers her eyes as you and Yoochun share a kiss.
Changmin holds a small cookie in front of his daughter’s mouth. “Say ah~” He smiles as she delightfully munches on it. “Don’t tell Mom that I gave you a cookie before dinner ok?” He playfully narrows his eyes at her while she nods happily. “Too late.” Changmin straightens at the sound of your voice and finds you leaning against the doorframe smirking at him. “Well, um-” he stutters. “We’re having a tea party!” Your daughter puffs up with pride while showing off her tea set. You smile lovingly at her, and then divert your gaze to Changmin who gives a sheepish smile and nods. “Just one cookie ok?” you warn them both and then smile as you receive two identical nods. Changmin makes sure that you’re out of sight before he discreetly takes a second cookie for himself. “Mom said one.” His daughter crosses her arms over her chest, signaling with her head to put the cookie down. Changmin complies with a sigh. He can’t outsmart her.

Sleep Tight
A/N: I see this as a newlywed scenario. Oh, how cute! XD
Onew has successfully buried himself under loads of comforters, unfortunately pulling everything with him and leaving you shivering and exposed to the cold air of the bedroom. Your eyes are still closed as you gently tug on a corner of the blanket. “Onew?” you croak out. After no response you tug a bit harder. “Bunny? Bunny~” you yawn heavily, not realizing that you’re calling him by his silly pet name, that is until you feel a warm arm snake around your waist pulling you in and completely submerging you under a cloud of comforters. “mmmphki.” You sigh at the sound of his muffled voice. Onew unconsciously snuggles his head right next to the curve of your shoulder while keeping his arm around your waist. “What was that?” you murmur. “Tokki~” he mumbles sleepily. You smile with your eyes still closed and locate the side of his head with your lips. The two of you fall asleep shortly after.
(A/N: So… I couldn’t resist with the whole Onew/bunny thing. Just thought it would be super cute ^^)
Taemin accidentally kicks you rather hard in his sleep causing you to yelp with pain. His eyes shoot open once he hears you and sees you sitting up. “Wha-what’s the matter?” he sits upright and looks at you with concern. “You kicked me.” you hiss through clenched teeth. “Sor-sorry.” Taemin stutters feeling very embarrassed. He reaches over to turn on the bedside lamp and gently pries your hands away from your leg where a bruise is already forming. “Wow, must’ve kicked you really hard.” Taemin mumbles and then sheepishly smiles at you. You still have your teeth clenched in pain as he gently runs his fingers over the wound, but then you look at him with confused eyes as he lays you back down on the bed, still supporting your leg with one arm. “Sorry for kicking you.” he brushes his lips against your leg making you blush slightly. He tucks you back into bed with him and holds you close to prevent anymore injuries.
Minho unconsciously tightens his hold around you in his sleep suddenly making it very difficult for you to breathe. “Min-Minho!” you croak out while gently prodding his chest in hopes that he’ll loosen his hold. To your slight relief he groans and blinks sleep from his eyes. “Hmm? Oh.” Minho looks down at you practically crushed against his chest. “Can’t breathe~” You pat his chest a little harder. “Oh!” Minho instantly lets go of you completely. “Sorry! Are you ok?” He rubs your back as you gasp a little to catch your breath. “Did I hurt you?” Minho asks, his voice although groggy, is filled with worry. “No, but you are very, very strong, Minho.” You shoot him a playful glare. Minho awkwardly scratches the back of his head before gently laying you back down. You quickly turn towards him and wrap your arms around his torso before squeezing with all of your might until he lets out a small yelp. “Payback.” you smile.
Jonghyun groans and flops over on his stomach, stirring you awake in the process. “What’s wrong?” you croak groggily before spotting him face down on his pillow. “Can’t. Sleep.” he croaks back before flipping himself over once more and sighing heavily. You gently scooch over to him and lay your head on his chest, right above his heart. “Ah! Should I tire myself out by singing then?” he asks cheerfully, wrapping a protective arm around you. You shrug and yawn, feeling sleep already taking over your body. Jonghyun starts singing a simple lullaby while rubbing soothing circles on your back. You flash a sleepy smile as his chest raises with every breath that he takes. It isn’t before long when you’re in deep sleep, snuggled into his chest. Jonghyun stops singing and smirks at your sleeping form. “Goodnight~” he drawls before tucking his free arm behind his head to doze off while still holding you.
Key is flat on his back and peacefully snoozing next to you, until he suddenly scrunches up his eyes and jolts upright. “Key?” You rub at your eyes after feeling the bed shift. “You ok?” you ask. “Yeah. Bad dream, that’s all.” he nervously laughs it off, but remains sitting. After a few minutes of just looking at him awkwardly sitting there, you lift an arm and gently tug on his shirt sleeve. “Come ‘ere.” You continue tugging on his sleeve until he relents and slides down next to you. Still half-asleep you manage to rearrange so that his head his cradled against your chest. “Better?” You draw random shapes and words along his back, feeling him gradually relax in your arms. A slow nod is given in response followed by a happy sigh as you plant a kiss on the crown of his head. You end up falling fast asleep on the spot, however when morning comes, you somehow find that your positions have switched as Key is now holding you to his chest.

Try something new and big changes are in store~
In the realm of entertainment, some artists branch out of their comfort zone to further develop and polish their talents and skills. We see this more than ever in k-pop. Idols becoming actors, musical actors, models, MCs etc. Furthermore with every comeback, I can assure that a new concept is always the highlight. It makes for a very exciting time as fans wonder what’s coming next!
I’ve been keeping this idea of change in mind as I carry on with my writing, specifically with my scenarios. I originally had no intention of writing my own scenarios. I merely stumbled across k-pop scenarios and enjoyed reading them. When I decided to dabble into scenario-writing for the first time (probably back in January) I felt a different sense of enjoyment. It’s such a challenge, yet rewarding experience to think of an idea that you are willing to run with, draft it, edit it, and finally hit the publish button and cross your fingers. Although you, fellow fans (and fellow fans of k-pop scenarios) probably hear this a lot, but I really appreciate you reading my scenarios and giving me feedback. It helps me step up to the challenge even more. Funny how just by a little personal experiment in writing turned out to be a really fun hobby!
On another note, do you recall a previous post that mentioned many, many things happening right now (thus greatly altering my consistency with posting) I did say I would reveal a bit of what is happening as it will affect the progress of my blog….
Later this summer, I will be heading to South Korea (yes, South Korea ^^) on a rather special and exciting opportunity for one year. That being said, there is indeed a lot of change in store for me! It’s a really big step that I’m taking, but my hope and goal is to always keep in mind the values and Lessons Learned that I have extracted thus far (and will continue to extract) from my passion in k-pop. This, fellow fans, was the original purpose of creating my blog and with every change, new idea, new hobby that may arise, I still find time to sit back and think of how this could possibly relate to what I see in the k-pop world.
So, with major changes in store, what will this mean? To be realistic, it will mean less frequent posts. As I am trying my very best to keep calm and carry on with all of the chaos in preparation that is happening right now, I cannot tell you flat out how many scenarios I will be cranking out per week. (oh, we do love them scenarios don’t we? ;P) As my primary focus will be on what I need to do while abroad, I will say that allowing myself to settle in a new environment and adjusting will need to take place before I can even start thinking of scenarios to write.
However, the scenario-writing will not stop now! No worries, I have a few drafted that need some alterations so stay tuned. :D

A treat just for you
“Hey Yoochun, could you grab another egg from the fridge?” you call over your shoulder. Yoochun nods sleepily and pads over to the fridge. It’s a nice surprise for him to be up and (sort of) awake to make breakfast with you, but clearly he needs some more time to adjust to the early morning hours. So far you’ve spared him of super complicated tasks in the kitchen in fear that he’ll just conk out on the spot. A hand suddenly appears in front of your face holding an egg. You smile as you take the egg, but then lead him to the cutting board. “Here, cut this for me.” you say while handing him a pepper. You receive a dazed puppy look before he once again yawns and nods. You watch him for a few seconds just to make sure that he can function enough to tackle one pepper. Yoochun casually slices into the vegetable still mindful of where he puts his fingers in accordance with the knife. With his back turned towards you he doesn’t realize that you’re pulling from the little oven a small breakfast treat just for him. “I’m done~” Yoochun calls over his shoulder with a slight sleepy drawl to his voice. You turn around to find him stretching out his limbs still trying to fight sleep. After plating the treat you turn him around. “Here, careful it’s hot.” You hold up the plate for him to see. At first, Yoochun stares at the plate with a rather blank expression, but once his vision focuses a bit and the scent of butter, sugar and cinnamon hits his nose, he breaks into a wide grin. “You made me a cinnamon bun?” His eyes automatically appear brighter and more awake. With a light laugh you gently pick up the treat and move closer to him. “You said you like sweet things.” You smile while he chuckles low. He happily bites into the cinnamon bun and pulls away leaving a bit of frosting on his upper lip. “Good?” You turn around to grab a napkin, but then feel him gently spin you back around. “Really good.” Yoochun smiles before leaning down to kiss you. You smile against his mouth as he tastes like sugar.

Holy @#$%! I finished ep. 19 and I cried! Fellow fans who have watched this drama, perhaps you can relate! The last 5 minutes were so sweet, so touching and BAM (not to spoil it for those of you who have not watched it yet) let’s just say that I went from ^///^ to 0_0 to T_T.
This sounds silly, but I am holding off on watching the final episode because… well the truth is I don’t have a drama to watch next. I mean, I of course had my eye on “Time Slip Dr. Jin” um, you know, out of curiosity of course (Jaejoong) ^^ Haven’t went on a hunt for ep. 1 yet, but honestly, after watching the teasers, I’m not the type that sits well with hard core, medical drama, but we’ll see.
